“Be still and know that I am God.” This commandment of God is not easy. But it is necessary if we desire to hear His voice, to know His ways and comprehend His plans.
Romans 8:32, AMP,“He who did not spare [even] His own Son, but gave Him up for us all, how will He not also, along with Him, graciously give us all things?”
America was founded on the gospel of Jesus Christ. As children of God, we must stand in the gap together and cry for God to restore America to Him.
I believe God wants us to remember that He hears us when we pray.
Psalm 145:8-9 reads, “The Lord is merciful and compassionate, slow to get angry and filled with unfailing love. The Lord is good to everyone. He showers compassion on all His creation.”
Knowing Jesus is the same, yesterday, today and forever brings much comfort. It brings an assurance that He will never change.
“Long ago the Lord said to Israel [and may I say, He said it to us through Christ] “I have loved you, my people, with an everlasting love. With unfailing love, I have drawn you to myself.” Jeremiah 31:3, NLT
Jesus spoke clearly to those of us who follow Him, “Let not your heart be troubled…”
“When God our Savior revealed His kindness and love, He saved us, not because of the righteous things we had done, but because of His mercy. He washed away our sins, giving us a new birth and new life through the Holy Spirit.” Titus 3:4-5 NLT
If we live long enough, just like Jesus, we will all face our Gethsemane.
