Distraction is a tool of the enemy. If he can get us to focus on something else other than Jesus, he’ll keep us from receiving from the Holy Spirit the very thing we may need.
“Fight the good fight of faith” (I Timothy 6:12a). Determine not to be among those that start off good and fizzle before you get to the end of your faith journey. (Luke 9:62)
Though your walk of faith may be difficult, challenging or just plain uncomfortable. If the Lord has spoken, you won’t have to navigate the journey alone.
A tragic result of not pursuing God is that our Christian lives become weak and ineffective. When we fail to pursue God faithfully, we compromise His plan and promise for our lives.
Have you ever thought about what life would be like if Jesus had not been born?
The same God who delivers us from our sins is the same God who promotes wholeness!
When you are offended, what’s the cure? Forgiveness!
When we take inventory of our lives, we discover that we all have some issues in our lives that are less than stellar. Instead of judging, when we witness the sins of others, it is better to ask the Lord for eyes to see them the way He does.
If we live long enough, just like Jesus, we will all face our Gethsemane.
