We think of our frailties, our failures and our inability to measure up to what we perceive God requires. Our God, on the other hand, shows His love for us by giving us His great gift of forgiveness through salvation in Jesus.
“Let everyone give all their praise and thanks to the Lord! Here’s why; He’s better than anyone could ever imagine. Yes, He’s always loving and kind, and His faithful love never ends!” (Psalm 107:1, TPT)
Grateful people are a delight to be around. Their attitude of thankfulness embodies what our Lord meant when He told us through the Apostle Paul to be thankful in everything! (1 Thessalonians 5:18)
We should never allow the cross to be far from our thinking. The finished work of the cross should be the motivating factor behind our love and thankfulness to Him.
